Accessibility statement

Prepared on: 16/09/2026

Refreesh S.r.l. Società Benefit wants Athleex to be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. This statement describes the accessibility status of the service against the requirements of Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act), transposed in Italy by Legislative Decree 82/2022.

Scope

It covers the athleex.com website (public pages and the restricted areas for personal trainers and athletes) and the Athleex apps for iPhone and Android, which show the same pages.

Compliance status

Athleex is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA and the corresponding requirements of the European standard EN 301 549, because of the limitations listed below.

Known limitations

  • Some links and text in the brand green on light backgrounds (for example links in blog articles, which are distinguished by colour only) and some low-contrast secondary text do not reach the minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1.
  • Some form fields in the restricted areas are not programmatically associated with a label, and some clickable elements cannot be reached with the keyboard.
  • Charts in the restricted areas (trends and statistics) do not always have a text alternative with the same data.
  • The demonstration videos in the exercise library and videos uploaded by users have no captions or audio description.
  • The “Find a PT” map and YouTube or Vimeo videos on PT pages use third-party players whose accessibility we do not control.
  • User-uploaded content (photos, videos, chat attachments, PDF documents such as invoices, text on PTs' public pages) may lack text alternatives, captions or an accessible structure.
  • The iPhone and Android apps have not yet been tested with VoiceOver and TalkBack on physical devices.
  • A full review of every page with screen readers has not yet been carried out.

How this statement was prepared

This statement was prepared on 16/09/2026 through a self-assessment: a review of the source code and automated checks (linter accessibility rules and automated tests). No third-party audit has been carried out. On the same date we fixed the zoom lock, the “Skip to main content” link, focus handling in the cookie panel and missing text alternatives.

Feedback

If you run into an accessibility problem or need content in an accessible format, write to info@athleex.com stating the page and the problem.

Complaints procedure

If the answer is unsatisfactory or does not arrive, in Italy you can contact the Agency for Digital Italy (AgID), designated by Legislative Decree 82/2022 as the supervisory authority for services. [da validare con il titolare]
